Cole fought off a fiery Conrad Shaw in the final weeks of the season, but in a deciding match between the two, Cole was victorious, leaving him the means to win another successive league title.

Corie finished the season with 46 points, 23 wins from 30, 2 maximums and a highest checkout of 104, championed him to victory by the slimmest of margins, winning on leg difference against competitors Daniel Fitzakerley and Danny Bennett.

Corey finished the season with 48 points, 24 wins from 30, fighting through a tough field, and coming through on the penultimate night as League Champion, fighting off opposition Harvey Calladine and Curtis Lewis.

Sponsor’s Awards

SPOTS Danny

Sponsor’s Player of the Season

Danny Bennett

Awarded for his long run at the top of the Division One table and only missing out on glory by leg difference, the Bell Transport team chose Danny Bennett as their Player of the Season.

PPOTS Conrad

Players’ Player Of The Season

Conrad Shaw

The Players’ Player, an award voted by the players, for the player who they think has outshone the rest of the pack. Awarded for his impressive head to head contest with Richard Cole for the Premier League title. Going straight to the top after being promoted to the Premier League at the end of last season, Conrad unfortunately fell at the last hurdle, but has been commended for his efforts in pushing right to the end for glory.

MIPOTS Kieron

Most Improved Player of the Season

Kieron Baker

After promotion last time out, Kieron Baker has lit up the Division One Stage, falling short of back to back promotions, a task that had to be commended. Finishing 4th place in a higher division was a task that Kieron wouldn’t have imagined his first season in Division One would conclude at, but this award was given for pure determination to improve.

Owen was this season’s Special Recognition Awardee, for always being willing to go the extra mile to help out with setting the league up, and helping the organisers where needed, without any hesitation or preservation.
